Estonia is a small and yet little discovered country along the Baltic Sea, just below Finland. Our other neigbours are Sweden on the other side of the Baltic Sea, Latvia in the south and Russia to the east, with St. Petersburg across the border. You can depart from Tallinn's international airport and in less than two hours be in Helsinki, Stockholm, Riga, Moscow or St. Petersburg.

Although small by area, it is one of the best kept natural secrets of the area. It is quite unusual to find such a variety in landscapes, flora, seasons, weather and culture within only a couple of dozens of kilometres. Having only 1.4 million people living in the country, its nature is still untouched in many places and forests still cover half of the country making it an attractive nature and active tourism destination.

Estonia has been invaded and ruled by Germans, Danes, Swedes, Poles and Russians, but each one of them have left behind also something good. Feel it when you visit different towns of Estonia - the medieval capital Tallinn, the famous University town of Tartu, our Summer Capital Pärnu or the mystical islands of Saaremaa and Hiiumaa.

Your first holiday stop will most probably be Tallinn, the capital and business and cultural centre of Estonia, deserving a guidebook of its own. The historic Old Town with its romantic cobbled streets is a jaw dropping experience and the main tourist attraction of this seaside city. Since 1997 it is officially recognized as part of UNESCO World heritage, bringing first time visitors back for the second and third time.

We would be honoured to welcome you in Estonia and medieval Tallinn!
